Terms of Service
By using GetFiles you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service
GetFiles ("the service") is a free file-request and file-collection tool operated by Alex Kay ("the operator") at getfiles.app.
2. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior or the preservation of files beyond their stated expiry.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for: unlawful content, malware, copyright-infringing files, child sexual abuse material, threats, harassment, unauthorized data collection. The operator may suspend or delete content without notice if a violation is suspected.
Every uploaded file is automatically scanned with ClamAV. Files flagged as malware are deleted immediately and not delivered to the recipient. We do not review file content for any other purpose.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you upload. By uploading you grant the operator a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and serve that content for the duration of its retention period. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any law or third-party right.
5. Account and termination
You may delete your account or any request at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate access for violations and may discontinue the service at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages or loss of data, profits or goodwill. Total liability shall not exceed €10. Mandatory provisions (intent, gross negligence, product liability) remain unaffected.
7. Changes
Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. For consumers resident in the European Union, mandatory provisions of consumer law in their country of residence remain unaffected.
