You don't need a dedicated wedding photo app. You don't need to pay for a service. You just need a link where guests can upload their photos.

Step by step

  1. Open getfiles.app
  2. Type a title: "Emma & Jack — Wedding Photos"
  3. Optionally add a description: "Upload your photos and videos from the ceremony and reception!"
  4. Click "Create upload link"
  5. Copy your link and share it

Your upload page is now live. Anyone with the link can upload photos — no sign-up, no app download, no Google account.

What your guests see

When guests open your link, they see a clean page with your title and a drag-and-drop upload area. On mobile, they can tap to open their camera roll and select multiple photos at once. There's an optional name field so you can see who uploaded what.

Share it everywhere

Your upload link works anywhere you can paste a URL:

Practical tips

Set it to accept images only. In the advanced settings, choose "Images only" to prevent guests from accidentally uploading random files.

Set a reasonable expiration. 7–10 days after the wedding is plenty of time. This keeps your page focused and reminds guests to upload soon while memories are fresh.

Download everything as a ZIP. Once uploads slow down, go to your dashboard and download all photos in one click. You'll get a single ZIP file with everything organized.

Why not just use Google Photos or iCloud?

Both require your guests to have the matching account. Not everyone uses Google. Not everyone has an iPhone. A simple web upload link works on any device with a browser — which is every smartphone made in the last decade.

Cost

Free. getfiles.app doesn't charge for creating upload pages. There are limits on file size and total storage, but for wedding photos they're more than generous.
